Master of the Seas
Today a beautiful Blue Coat flagship created by Flickr user "Corioso".
Especially the rear of the ship is constructed beautifully. Gold windows and gold detailing make it look very realistic.
With over 40 cannons this is a truly mighty ship.

The Tumbler
This is a beautiful Tumbler, built by Flickr user "jp_velociraptor"
Many have tried to create a moc of this iconic piece of transportation and most of them have failed. The Tumbler has so many odd angles that most attempts result in a fragile moc that falls apart just by touching it. This Tumbler looks very sturdy and stable.

The Grand Hall
A beautiful creation by Flickr user "ShareburG" built for a Lego building contest.
This is a Grand Hal from medieval times. This Moc features some very original building techniques.
The walls are constructed from bricks staked into irregular patterns. This technique has been used in streets but not often to create walls. Also the tables and benches are created very nicely.
Check out this Moc on Flickr.

Modular Western Town
Great news form Cuusoo again! The Modular Western Town project has reached 10.000 votes.
This is great news since both the Firefly and the Shaun Of The Dead project have been rejected due to Lego policy.
This project has great potential since it is an already existing theme.

Heber Valley 1813
This is a beautiful train engine built by Flickr user "Pepa Quin". The train is based on a Heber Valley 1813 engine.
The combination of black and yellow is always very nice.
The middle wheels in both trucks can move back and forth to easily navigate the tight Lego curves.

Star Wars: The Old and the New!
Star Wars is one of the most popular Lego themes for over 10 years now. So popular in fact that the are now making new versions of old sets. I will be showing you some of these new releases and compare them to the original sets.
So to kick this off!
The Droid Escape
This is the original Droid Escape set from 2001. It was one of the first Star Wars sets.
It is a very simple set. There are R2-D2 and C-3PO, and of course their escape pod. The entire set contains 45 pieces.
There is very little detail in the set. The escape pod is very smooth and most of the detailing is put on the printed pieces.
Check it out on Brickset.
Update: Buy the 7106 on theplasticbrick.com
This is the new release of the Droid Escape. It was released earlier this year.
The were a lot of changes made in comparison to the original set. 2 Stormtroopers and a speederbike were added and the escape pod looks a lot more like the real pod from the movie. Also the minifigs of C-3PO and R2-D2 have been updated, R2 has a grey dome now and 3PO has a more detailed torso and head. This new set contains 137 pieces which, in combination with the extra minifigs, makes this set much more fun to play with.
Check it out on Brickset.
This was the first comparison of an old and a new set. More will follow!

You have been SteamPunked!
These days it has become increasingly popular to convert any standard Lego theme to Steam Punk.
Flickr user "SiMOCs" has done a great job of converting the Imperial Shuttle to this fan made theme.
All the pieces like gears, wheels and barrels take the shuttle directly to the worlds of Steam Punk!

The Cinema
This is a beautiful modular cinema created by Flickr user "Jorge".
He has done a great job of capturing the grandness of the 1950's cinema. The use of dark red and the small windows make this a beautiful corner modular.
You can just imagine the citizens of Lego City lining up to see The 50 Year Brick!
Check it out on Jorge's Flickr page!
